Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer

Main tasks

To receive new product (project) from mother factory, to establish and complete the product technology and specifications to customer requirements.

NPD manger

Contacts and communications

Internal communicate with Production, Purchasing, Quality functions; external communicate with national related industrial units and technical center in Global Company

Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

F Study customer requirements of the parts. And summarize and transfer these requirements to company design.

F Work on concept of design to support sales to for quotation, to support sales to get new business..

F Detail Design and Develop mechanical parts under system part requirements on 3D&2D drawing, DFMEA, Design verification, SC and so on, to release design based on APQP on time. Ensure good design release to production.

F Lead design review activities at Suzhou plant, to ensure get voice of plant and supplier. To ensure design is with low cost target.

F Lead design verification and product validation test activities under test engineer support, and resolve the issues from test until test pass.

F Support production issues or complain from customer on technical side.

F Project coordinate task will be assigned based on work scope or workload balance .

F Other task assigned by manager of NPD

Professional background

F Minimum 5 years plastic mechanical parts design experience work is necessary; Familiar with 3D model ; CATIA experience is plus.

F Familiar with mechanical tooling design, especially plastic tooling design, familiar with plastic parts issues resolve.

F Minimum 7 years working experience in design area. Tier 1 mechanical design experience is preferred.

F 6 Sigma and DOE tool is familiar in design activities and issues resolve.

F APQP knowledge experience in automotive area is plus.

F 7. Good command of English both oral and writting.

F 8.A structured and systematically working personality with focus in high quality and with high-level personal capabilities.
